Ensuring the privacy of our customers is one of the primary concerns of PrintersOnline. Currently, our website systems do not automatically capture any personal information identifiable to you, including your e-mail address, unless you specifically give it to us. 

What are the purposes of collecting my information?

When information is requested and collected by PrintersOnline, it is done so with the sole intention of providing our users with a customized experience on our site.  By collecting information from our users, we provide them with personalized services, online shopping, and interactive communciations.  E-mail addresses and telephone numbers are collected in order to ensure efficient and continual communication between us and our users in the event that questions arise regarding orders, product shipments, or services.  In addition, we may use this information to inform our users of upcoming promotions on products and services offered by PrintersOnline. All users who set up an account with us have the option of whether or not they would like to receive information about future specials.

With whom does PrintersOnline share my information?

When personal information is collected on PrintersOnline, it is not shared with any other website or agency.  Although we are retailers of products manufactured by companies such as Lexmark, Hewlett Packard, QMS, and Tektronix, we do not share your personal information with any manufacturer.  In addition, we do not reveal our customer or user lists to any company, agency, or person outside of PrintersOnline. We do not engage in joint marketing or other similar arrangements.

How does PrintersOnline protect my information?

PrintersOnline accounts are designed to be password protected so that only the user has access to personal information.   We recommend that you are extremely cautious when it comes to divulging your password.  PrintersOnline will never ask you your password in an unsolicited phonecall or e-mail.  Also remember to log-off when you are finished using your account, in particular if you have made purchases on PrintersOnline using your credit card. 

For users who make purchases online using their credit card, account information is used only for billing customers who make purchases. To protect our information transferred between the browser and your web server, PrintersOnline uses SSL (Secure Socket Layer)/ digital id’s software which encrypts information you input.  In addition, we understand that certain users may be uncomfortable conducting purchases over the Internet.  PrinterOnline offers users the option of calling us directly to place orders. 

How do I change my account information?

Users who wish to change the account information and/or password can do so by simply logging in.  Once they have logged in, the Preferences link will appear next to the Log off link at the top right hand corner of the screen.  By clicking on Preferences, users are linked to a page that allows them to change their password and account information.  For users who select to change their account information, a default screen will appear first displaying their account information previous enterred.

Does PrintersOnline use cookies?

A "cookie" is a small file stored by your web browser on your computer's hard drive for future reference.  Currently, PrintersOnline does not use cookies to track our users. 

Almost every website links to external websites.  PrintersOnline links only to www.dsg-us.com, the Document Solutions Group, Inc., our parent company.
